1. Do you like to travel? Why/why not?
Yes and no. I like seeing new places and meeting new people. I quite like the bits of the plane journey where you can watch the world-as-map. I like train journeys and car journeys and bus journeys, as long as the seats are reasonably comfortable and there are things to see outside the window (i.e. I want the window seat). But I don’t much like hanging around in airports or train stations waiting (in fact, I don’t much like waiting. period.) and I get achy and restless from sitting still too long, so if the journey exceeds a certain length of time, I’ll stop enjoying myself and starting wishing we were there already.
2. Do you ever get to/have to travel for work? If so, how often? What for, usually?
Not much. Certainly not in my new job.
3. When was the last time you traveled?
Oslo at the beginning of November, for the whisky festival, and Dufftown, also for the whisky festival, before that.
Oooh
Conversation between Stephen Fry and J.K.Rowling. Has to be good.

Eggedosis eller kakao?
What the heck is eggedosis in English? It’s like eggnog without the milk… just sugar and raw egg.
Hot chocolate. Eggedosis is just nauseating after about one mouthful.
Pakker nissen gavene eller bare legger han dem under treet? Does Santa wrap the presents or does he just put them under the tree?
He wraps them, of course. Or rather, one of the elves wraps them.

Am adding entries from the old blog by sql import, so I’m just checking that that doesn’t mess up new posting…
