Annetten answers oodles of questions, and so naturally, I have to too…
Well, you know, it’s Friday.

Since it’s Friday I’m being sent these links…
100 things to do before you die
19 is unfair – I mean, it’s not as if I’ve ever tried to avoid growing a beard. 45 is out for obvious reasons (anyone come up with a good alternative?). And I think that on the whole, not having done 53 and 80 yet it would be better if I never did.
20, though, seems like a pretty good idea. And 87 has to be the perfect way to celebrate once the kitchen actually gets done…
I’m up to 33/100, by the way.
I’ve seen this before, but it’s the sort of thing you need to remind yourself of every now and again:
So, where do you figure?
Voices in my head: The Beatles – It’s getting better all the time
We did some washing yesterday – two machine loads – but there must be something wrong with the machines. I realised this when I was putting away the dry, clean clothes and sat down to match the socks up, because – get this – all the socks matched!
And here I was, thinking that unmatched socks out of the washing machine was one of life’s constants, like gravity (which – though highly opposed in some quarters – seems quite immune to all petitions) or people’s inability to realise that if you let people off the bus first, there’ll be more room for you to get on.
Pigs may fly yet.
Just did Melissa’s little riddle and was so pleased with myself for getting it that I had to encumber you with it… (I orginally wrote “endumber” there – that’s just got to be a Freudian slip.)

Kyle left comments in an earlier post about banned/challenged books, alerting me to the existence of the ALA (American Library Association) webpages. Having a look at the ala.org (not .com) webpage is recommended – they have a lot of interesting material on challenged and banned books. They also advertise Banned Books Week (25th September – 2nd October 2004), which seems like an excellent initiative.

Well, you all knew that anyway, didn’t you?
Funnily enough, the LJ user whose journal I found the link to the quiz in got the same result. However, when I use my LJ username I get this:
“ACHTUNG! |

Funny.
From all over the place, the latest meme:
Write html to put colour on a word, but instead of the colour code (or the word “blue”, for example) put your username (i.e.: username but with the pointy brackets instead of the square ones). Voila: See what colour you are.
Thus, I am robin.
Which seems rather appropriate.
Dette fortjener en skål: Ny forskning indikerer at kaffe muligens forhindrer de leverskadene man pådrar seg når man drikker. Kaffe og cognac er ikke bare dumt, med andre ord.
