Even though the bride and groom may be the most cruicial participants, no couple can hope to pull off a big wedding celebration without a little help. Here are some of the lovely people helping us out:

Best man

Gaute is an old friend of Martin, as befits the choice of best man. They've been friends since primary school where they soon discovered several common interests, among those a severe case of anglophiliacitis. Since the bride and her maid of honour have taken the reins on the preliminary preperations the best man is left with planning the stag night and getting a hold of a decent suit of clothes (which for the average man isn't the easiest thing in the world). Not that Gaute is the least bit normal. Just like the groom he's quite mad, something which (in the groom's eyes, and very unlike the groom) manifests itself in his teetotalitarian nature.

Maid of Honour/Best woman

Linda and Robin met in the fencing group at NTNU. A fellow friend had, in fact, been intending to introduce them as she thought they were both equally mad and so would be bound to get on like a house on fire. In the event she was quite right, though she never really got to take the credit for their meeting. Linda currently lives in Sweden, which makes her participation in the day-to-day tasks during wedding preparations impractical, but she is frequently consulted by telephone, and her input is invaluable.

Toastmaster

Kåre has been a friend of Robin's father since 'folkeskolen', and was a natural choice for toastmaster, not least because it's a job he's been known to do exceedingly well in the past.
