Flowers
Well, tulips, right?
Maybe not. Perhaps I'll just opt for wildflowers instead. They should be in plentiful supply, and, quite significantly, free.
We'll see. I'll have a look at availability and prices for tulips at the appropriate time and deliberate based on that.

Tulips
Well, I want tulips no matter what, but I was relieved in any case to find these "meanings" on a US site:
Tulip, Red: Declaration of Love
Tulip, Variegated: Beautiful Eyes
The only other meaning I've found so far was on a Danish site, and according to them tulips mean "I do not want your love" which is hardly appropriate.
